Thanks for the kindness and encouragement my good friend and incredible Tamborine Mountain Luthier Kim Hancock and his two sons, Sean and Dane, I decided to take the plunge. With the additional support Kim and safe and providing some very nice wooden box in a long and a great book on building guitars, I started to dream.I not determined once and for all to build this damn guitar again, writing a book about the same time!
After many websites visited and read some interesting books on the violin, I realized that there were different methods of building a guitar from scratch. However, I decided that the safest method for me was the construction of a mold, a replica of the real guitar and a basic work that mold can be built.

The base of the mold is to give you a real live 3D model of the guitar you have the intention to build, literally, around the mold itself. The other function of the mold is to have a handy reference and developing now front, rear and side the scale of precious wood, which is about to cut. The base is exactly what I said. It is a flat bottom constructed from MDF, two pieces of ¾ "thick each attached forces to form a mini "strong backs" to build his guitar.
