The award-winning children's book Hachiko Waits has inspired me to learn more about Akitas.

I just finished reading Hachiko Waits by Leslee Newman wrote and illustrated by Machiya Kodaira. I admit I'm a fool for a fairy animal warm heart, and the story of Hachiko, the Akita Japanese famous both broke my heart, and I raised.

Hachiko Waits is a book based on the facts from fiction and award-winning children's book based on a story true source of inspiration. In January 1924, a Japanese professor Ueno approved a period of three months, the little puppy Akita named Hachiko it. The teacher takes the train to work every day, and soon, Hachiko began to accompany him to the station to return home when the train left, and return each evening, just before three in the afternoon to meet his master.

One day the professor died suddenly at work, and every day for ten years until his death, Hachiko waited again. Over the years, many Japanese have come to know and love Hachiko and was treated until his death at a ripe old age of natural causes. The faithful dog died truly a day of waiting at the station for his master. The people of Japan have been so impressed by the loyalty of Hachiko's who have erected a statue in his honor and places in Shibuya station. The money was raised and an artist named Ando was hired in 1934 and died just before Hachiko, held a ceremony to dedicate the statue.

After reading this story, became more interested in this beautiful breed. My only experience with Akitas had been with Emma, a local dog, who recently died of old age. Emma and her owner was to run into me and my Chow mix, Beardog on field trips. Its owner was over six feet and a strong man, who had to use all its force when the deer or Emma decided she needed to shoot his head. I learned that Akita is unique in its ability to stand and opponents are strong and formidable box fighters, if necessary, and faithful to his people.

A day in the park, Emma stood on his hind legs and the back of a couple of dogs that were aggressive with Beardog. The faithful Emma decided it was his plate and stood up for us. It was a great and beautiful dog that needs an owner can keep and love and discipline. I realized that it was simply not always going to have the privilege to hold an Akita dog – 50 pounds My MIX Chow has all my might. Akitas are the largest breed of Spitz-type and not be the dog of choice for people who are not capable of running a big race.

The origin of the Akita dogs

Akitas originated in Japan, where they are popular and revered. They have long been regarded as Japan's national race and traditionally owned by the nobility and the aristocracy. Also known to be aggressive toward other dogs and pets, and while they get along with the elderly, children good of their families, but are not very tolerant of children who do not.

For these reasons, they are excellent stewards of the fairground, but not excessive.

Akita dog is a dog for you?

Understanding the nature of this beautiful race that decide if you are willing to take an Akita. They do not do well if left alone for long periods of time. For this reason, it is very suitable for two families career year. Intensive care. Akitas are not recommended beginner dog owner, or owners that are quiet and subdued.

There are real advantages for the implementation of a dog for the presidency. It would be useful, of course, if the dog was a governor, or at least a senator in the first place but we could make a case for an All-American bastard common. People love dogs. Everyone knows that dogs are runners very good, so we all said. They Management is very important to have running on what the party can simply let off the leash and run to the nearest reward.

One advantage of having a dog in the White House is probably barking a lot as the country's enemies and frighten the dog attack and bite the perceived threats, regardless of reality.

Dogs can be trained to do almost anything. The game can run about dogs and dog can govern the country. And the world, I suppose.

I see some concerns about press conferences and addresses to Congress, but no one else to listen to reporters anyway. The country would save heavily on speechwriters and fertilizer to the lawn of the White House.

Strategists must consider the challenges of cats, Democats. But they are generally poorly organized and full of hairballs so it is probably not going to be massive opposition. In addition, voters do not want a president who purrs a lot and vomited.

Oh, sure, there will "wag the dog jokes, but every president has put in place with such cruelty press and media. It is the curse of service to his country. Semper fi.

The Cabinet must fall into line fairly easily. It be difficult to find suitable dogs to different positions: Secretary of State would, of course, a poodle, the Secretary of Defense would a Doberman or perhaps a Rottweiler, depending on the mood of the population. Health and Human Services: Cocker Spaniel? Interior: San Bernardo. Border Collies have a function obvious. The economy? Rat Terrier? This continues.

We have not discussed the vice presidency. Perhaps there is a coyote available. Then there will be Supreme Court candidates. This could be a problem. Kansas Toto are well discussed, but can not join the party line, too independent. A Great Dane has a specific behavior and is without much question correctly, it looks good on a mantle. Chihuahua not quite the chutzpah. Spitz Perhaps a chow or a will. Purple language has a certain grandeur.

Okay evidence bearing in mind the appeal of the first lady. It must be a border collie or a Shitzu. Press Secretary must be a dog population that may seem distant and friendly simultaneously. Labrador. These are the eyes that you do.

Yes, I think the dog is gone the next election sewn. Need to have a slogan: "I trousers. "No, it brings all sorts of problems." Sniff my … "No, no, no." Prick Up Your Ears .. "It's not fair." We number the lot! "Okay I will.

Go to the dog house.
