Dog sitting a Great Dane, in the presence of a Husky puppy?.
I have asked this question, but the details were requested. So my cousin and her partner go to Europe for business / vacation for 3 weeks. My cousin asked if I could dog sit for her 2 year old Great Dane Walter. Since I owe a favor, I agreed. The thing is that I have my own 3 months old male Husky dog (Rocky) at home. Both dogs you have not yet reached and I wonder if they will interact well. But if they can survive in the house together, I will be able to walk together, b / c of breeders of Rocky I got were not kidding when they said I like to run. The Danes is a great need as much exercise as a Husky? Furthermore, how can I get not one to eat the food of others? And I do not know if this will be a problem, but I doubt that Walter has been neutralized b / c my cuz did not mention any by the time he would try to replicate it. And I have yet Rocky neutered for the same reason.
1) introducing into them a neutral ground, like a park. That know each other. Although I'm sure that Rocky has not developed habits terrirotial incredible, you must ensure feels threatened that not one of them. 2) Wait Walter Rocky to cut a bit, especially if you leave lots of time together. Walter baby is probably going to tolerate reading Login to Rocky, but is likely to tire of him and when he reached it thinks will save Rocky. 3) be marked, but if you can consider yourself lucky. 4) They will be more than happy to go walking together. The Danes love the exercise, as the Huskies (as you've discovered!)

Great Dane 6 weeks of age and diarrhea can really eat?
I just got a Saturday 6 of the last weeks Great Dane puppy, so who is with me since almost a week. Now I understand that is young enough to be removed from its mother and litter. I was misinformed about 10 people different saying he was well and had that Great Dane puppies about 5-6 weeks. Anyway all this that, he made mistakes in crate training last week it slowly begin to decrease. Also binds Golden Retriever 5 years, you are finally starting to get used to it. Now the problem is in the fact that he has diarrhea (which I attributed to his new food.) had no way to get the food they were feeding their breeders (Sam's Club Complete Nutrition). So he eats really well. I feed 3 / 4 cup of Eagle Pack 3 times per day. He eats only 1 / 4 cup of what I more or less. Do not force your way, but it seems that this is not really enough to eat and he only 9 pounds now. Okay?
Yes, you need to have the vet ASAP. Sure that this is not a problem more serious than an upset stomach to go to a different meal. If parvo is highly contagious. Hopefully, the gold is aware of the shooting. Eagle Pack is an excellent food for him. Try putting a bit of dust in the upper transition from a few days should help him adjust to it. Do not leave food all time, left the food, then collect all that remained after 5-10 minutes. Keep food 3 times a day to help prevent swelling. Dane My dog is 23 pounds in 7.5 weeks. Your being 9 pounds in 6 weeks is very worrisome. Get to the vet ASAP. It sounds like your breeder is very reputable, and it would surprising that the puppy is sick. Good luck! PS-6 weeks is too young for any vaccine. No dog should never be vaccinated unless they are 100% healthy. Dane puppies can have reactions to vaccines against the disease. NEVER vaccinate before 8 weeks, and ask the vet if you can get maps can not be changed. Lepto is not be given before 5 months, and rabies should be given 6 months earlier, then better. The Great Dane breed is estimated at 400 years, but dogs seem the Great Dane is shown in drawings in Egyptian tombs dating to 2200BC. These were the dogs Mastiff type and leg shorter than the modern Great Dane. These are the Germans who developed the breed in the dog we know today. Some sources suggest that race was established by Mastiff, boarhound, Greyhound and Irish Wolfhound. At first they were used as bull baiters, and then became popular with the nobility and were used for hunting wild boar and deer. In 1800, these were commonly used for hunting big game. The United Kingdom United Danish club started in 1885 and the American version in 1889.
The Great Dane has a short shiny coat, thick, require little maintenance. It is a relatively clean dog that is convenient, because a bathroom can be difficult. There are six shows acceptable colors for the race are:
Fawn – yellow gold with a black mask
Brindle – Fawn and stripes Chevron black
Blue – pure steel blue without white markings
Black – Pure Black Iced
Harlequin – Base color white with irregular in black
Coat – Black and white with a black robe and white head and muzzle, chest and neck
Other colors exist but are not allowed in the ring, and therefore not encouraged by the farmers. Despite the great Dane has set the appearance of the breed has a friendly nature, mix well with other dogs and pets and children. They become very close and loyal to non-owners, family members and frequent visitors. They are active dogs and need to be exercised regularly. These dogs are quick to alert the family of any approach to foreigners who make excellent watchdogs, although not bark much. It is important to start training and socialization at an early age as they grow very quickly in large dogs and can become dominant and aggressive to other animals if not trained.
As with all deep chest dogs, the dog is prone to gastric torsion or swelling, this can be avoided by taking precautions with food animals. Some suggest that a high power plate reduces the risk of swelling, but other studies say it increases the chances of disease. By not exercising immediately before or after eating reduces risk. The race may also have problems with hip dysplasia that can be controlled with exercise and nutrition. Radiography of the parents usually can certify whether their hips are healthy kids. Like all these big dogs have a slower metabolism and therefore have less energy and eat less per pound of smaller dog breeds. Like all dogs, all white, many whites are deaf. Average life of the race is between 8 and 12 years.
Super Danes appeared in several films including The Patriot, Batman Beyond, the Swiss Family Robinson, Good Boy. Other famous Great Danes are:
The character of Hanna-Barbera Scooby Do

Dog Captain Kirk in Star Trek

Hello I’m Ben Parker. I created this site because I love dogs. And believe that it is our job as humans to care for the animals on this planet. But mostly what I see is abuse and neglect. The biggest one that I see is the food we feed our pets. Did you know that most of the food we feed our dogs (or we get from the store) is made of corn.
Dogs can’t digest corn and it has petroliem products in it, as in the same stuff they make gasoline out of. Dogs can live 20 or more years, but they don’t because the food they eat slowly poisions them. Any way sorry to go off on a tangent, I just passionate about taking car of our dogs the right way.
