Lyric Interpretation "Come Around" remix?
In the song remixed Collie Buddz "Come Around" with Young Buck and Tony Yayo, Young Buck, one of the verses is "Waiting on my day to come for me to jump Babylon" seems a little like a biblical references as Babylon in the Bible is a symbol of all evil. However, the main theme is like, "hey smoke" weed, then how in this sense the context of the song? or do I have the lyrics wrong?
Babylon is a very important concept in Rastafarianism, a religion that has developed among the slaves and their descendants in Jamaica. Marijuana is also important in this religion, but I do not know exactly how. Babylon refers to the exile, it is believed among many religions (Including Judaism and Rastafarianism) that humanity is in exile, either literally or figuratively, the Holy Land, so we are living in "Babylon." Bob Marley used to Babylon as a symbol in several songs, and I think this would be the reference comes from this song … not that I have no idea who is Collie Buddz.
Dogs can’t digest corn and it has petroliem products in it, as in the same stuff they make gasoline out of. Dogs can live 20 or more years, but they don’t because the food they eat slowly poisions them. Any way sorry to go off on a tangent, I just passionate about taking car of our dogs the right way.
