where can i find bloodhound breeders in iowa?
where can i find a bloodhound breeder near me? I live in iowa…willing to travel throughout the midwest i guess not too terribly far.
Have you tried doing a google search yet? If not, it’s a place to start.
Another place to check would be www.petfinder.com.
There is a fantastic rescue group called Midwest Bloodhound Rescue that has a bunch of great dogs, many of them excellent SAR candidates if that’s what you’re searching for.

What’s the best way to get into Canine Search & Rescue training?
I have two bloodhounds that have been started in tracking and trailing, and I would like to get with a group to get more advanced traning and invovement with SAR in Arizona.
Talk to your local K9 police agency, and your local shelter. Pet welfare enthusiasts often are connected to other organisations involving pets. Even the Salvation Army might be able to help. Check the phone book for search and recue groups, and contact them. Or even the internet.

Good Electro/ House Music? *READ DESCRIPTION*?
Can you please list some good electro dj’s? They should music like happy hardcore, like acid trance, but faster, happier, and just amazing. Also any good house remix dj’s? Preferably someone like DJ Inphinity who makes a 2 hr remix of like 16 different songs. Thanks in advance. And also maybe some alt. elctro? Like that song Uhn Tiss by Bloodhound Gang?

if you in to pumping house music i recomend you to listen to “tech house” thats what i usually play…
about the live set there bunch if thems… you can go to soundcloud.com and look for the name of the dj and add “live” to the search and they should come up…

Bloodhounds?
1) Would a bloodhound make a good inside/outside pet? Plenty of room to exercise outside, but for the most part it would be inside at night.
2) Do bloodhounds run away easily like beagles do? does that depend on the training mostly?
I agree with Alambre. Definitely contact some Bloodhound people and talk with them about living with their dogs.
Scent hounds can be difficult and bloodhounds in particular tend to have a very strong drive.
They require a great deal of structured exercise (think a minimum of 3-5 miles a day). Running around outside, while it may help somewhat with energy levels does not really qualify as “exercise”.
They can be dominant
It is NOT recommended to let them off leash
As a rule they are very slobbery and mature slowly so they can be destructive in the house.

Dogs can’t digest corn and it has petroliem products in it, as in the same stuff they make gasoline out of. Dogs can live 20 or more years, but they don’t because the food they eat slowly poisions them. Any way sorry to go off on a tangent, I just passionate about taking car of our dogs the right way.
