Most believe that the dog of a breed of shepherd dogs that the Romans brought to Scotland somewhere in the 400's. He bred and originally developed for cattle. The collie is very similar to "Lassie", which is the Rough Collie with short hair.
The Smooth Collie can represent anywhere from twenty-three and twenty-six centimeters and can weigh anywhere fifty-five pounds up to seventy-five pounds. In Canada and the United States, this breed tends to be larger in size.
The Smooth Collie tends to be longer than high. This dog breed is a good performance because of its soft and sweet expression that is often on the face and eyes. The inner layer is very simple and very dense and thick hair can not be serious and almost rigid. The outer hair also tends to be quite long, ranging from two to three inches. Due to the length of hair and the hard layer, this breed must be brushed regularly at least once a week. Twice a year the Collie layer is very strong, but otherwise the rest of the year, shedding is quite normal. Collie plaster are usually a combination of sand and white. The Rough Collie has a double thick hair, and contrary to cover the Rough Collie Smooth Collie does not require more care than brushing often.
Known as a very sociable breed, both gross and Smooth Collie is a large dog for a family and is easily formed because they are very smart and pick up quickly. They always want to please their owners and trainers, so ready to obey any order or the training given to them. This race is not known for being aggressive at all, but if trained for it, can make a good watchdog. This dog has an almost supernatural ability as people want and an uncommon love for their owners and humans. This dog is very sensitive, not hard training or correction is necessary. They work hard treatment. Because the obligations of this dog so well with humans, collies time many are used to help disabled or blind. This breed is also very good with children and other dogs and gets along with almost anyone, human or animal.
A rough or smooth Collie can be fed every one and a half to two cans of medium-high quality meat or five cups of a complete solution of dry dog food with vitamins and minerals.
If the owner allows them to move freely, tend to hunt something with the kids, bikes, cars to brokers. This is due to their inherent herding instinct. Both Collies are very social and human beings must have some most of the time. If this is not about man or alone for long periods of time, get bored easily if not bark incessantly. By itself, are very gentle and domesticated, however, if Rush is facing a dangerous situation, they become fearless and unfettered and their owners to protect and help.

Dogs can’t digest corn and it has petroliem products in it, as in the same stuff they make gasoline out of. Dogs can live 20 or more years, but they don’t because the food they eat slowly poisions them. Any way sorry to go off on a tangent, I just passionate about taking car of our dogs the right way.
