Where can I get a Great Dane?

I want a puppy! Where can I get one for free? In Alaska or Canada!

Well .. Alaska and Canada are very large sites. A complete range. Chances are that if you somehow find a free dog, its owner will be unwilling to the ship. The amount spent on sending or even the conduct is likely to cost more to find only a dog near you. Find Free Mastiff will probably be impossible, unless you find an older one in a "free good home" ad because your current family can no longer take care of it, or something. In this If, however, you may not know exactly what you're getting into. Many people are not honest about why they leave their dogs, not genealogy, etc. Best is to contact a breed rescue in your area or see a local humane society / shelter. Breed rescues are very knowledgeable about the breed and usually can say everything about the dog. Overall is favored in a family and you can tell if it is high, safe with children and other animals, and so on. A human society may not be able to provide much information, but still worth watching. In this way, you get a dog, and save lives. Almost always there is an adoption rate, but lower than the purchase of a puppy and the dog almost always up to date on vaccinations and is neutered or spayed. If you can not find a race of redemption or one in a shelter, and really exhausted these options, the purchase of a reputable breeder is a possibility. This will probably cost you more money, but the dog should be champion lines, to check for problems Health, and guaranteed for a period of time. You also have the support of the breeder throughout the dog's life. Please Please do not buy from a pet store or backyard breeder. These dogs may vary in price, but also health problems and temperament. Also support an industry that generates the ruins and not properly care their animals. Good luck!

bloodhound beka cooper

bloodhound beka cooper
Any one else upset about the pushed back relese date of Bloodhound (Beka Cooper)?

Bloodhound (book 2 in the Beka Cooper series) was supposed to be out by now, but could not be published in time. It is now said to be published by April of 2009!!! This is due to the fact that Tamora Pierce was hit by a drunk driver and has been unable to write. So instead of publishing a work of crap, she pushed back the date. I am gald that an author cares about her fans enough to give of something of quality to read, but I am pissed at the wait. And mostly at the drunk driver, if you want to drink – stay off the stinkin’ road!!!
Thats all. Anyone else feel the same way?

ARGH! YES!! I feel your pain.

When I first picked up and read TERRIER, I was for some reason under the impression that the whole trilogy/series *was already published.* So when I finished TERRIER and hurried back to the bookstore to get book #2, you can just imagine my reaction. NOT OUT YET?!?!?!

And THEN to find that the publication date for BLOODHOUND had been pushed back from its original date….

::wailing and gnashing of teeth::

Has anyone bought the new Tamora Pierce book “Bloodhound” yet? Is it H/B or P/B?

Hello.

I have been waiting many months to finally get my hands on Tamora Pierce’s new book “Bloodhound”, which was supposedly published yesterday {April 14th}. However, every site I look on, especially Amazon, says that it is a hardback book. All my others are in paperback, and this is how they were given their initial publication ~ she hasn’t had a h/b release for years.

So, if anyone has bought a copy, is it h/b, or p/b?

Also, has anyone got the book {*not* audio book} of “Melting Stones”, and again, is h/b {as stated}, or p/b {as expected}…?

Thank you :)
Unfortunately, I’m in Britain.

I just found out that Tamora lost her british publisher {it was Scholastic}, which is why Random House have been doing the very American-looking p/bs.

It seems we may have to wait until 2010 for the p/b editions of both to be published here :(

Hi

Bloodhound, like all of Tamor Pierce books is released in hardcover in the US and Canada. We in Australia are gettting a paperback version but we will not have it published until May (I think May 1st but for that I am not sure). If you are ordering online you need to be careful taht you are looking at getting an Australian Paperback version rather than an imported hardback.

And I have a copy of Melting Stones in Paperback, the same format as my copy of Will of the Emperess. I picked up my copy at Big W for a really good price.
