Does anyone have tips for bathing a Golden Retriever abuse?
We recently adopted a golden retriever who was severely abused. General Goldens love the water, but not the way abusive parents bathed. Until now it is very easy as sitting down and is accepting hugs and touch. However, when standing, she rushed to you if you are too close. We've only been during the week so we hope to be afraid of us, but does anyone have advice for swimming and any on how to break this barrier of fear that makes us so fast? Thanks
It is an excellent book on this subject again: HELP Fearful FOR YOUR DOG: A STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO CONQUER help your dog's fears by Nicole Wilde plenty use of it and maybe he is not ready bathroom, yet? There are dogs that you can buy wipes to clean if you feel, but he gets used to it before giving a bath. For an abused dog that just passed, you can take 6 months to a year before it learns to trust again. It will happen, but it takes some time. I had, and that lasted seven months before he trusted us, and realized it was his "forever" home. Good luck with it.

Dogs can’t digest corn and it has petroliem products in it, as in the same stuff they make gasoline out of. Dogs can live 20 or more years, but they don’t because the food they eat slowly poisions them. Any way sorry to go off on a tangent, I just passionate about taking car of our dogs the right way.
